HAL SDIO macros migration

This section provides information about the HAL SDIO macros migration.

HAL SDIO enable IT macro

In both HAL1 and HAL2, flags and interrupts are internally handled by HAL driver within the process functions; normally, application code does not need to check flags or interrupts status directly.

HAL1

HAL2

__HAL_SDIO_ENABLE_IT

Use __STATIC_INLINE void HAL_SDIO_EnableIT(hal_sdio_handle_t *hsdio, uint32_t interrupt)

HAL SDIO disable IT macro

In both HAL1 and HAL2, flags and interrupts are internally handled by HAL driver within the process functions; normally, application code does not need to check flags or interrupts status directly.

HAL1

HAL2

__HAL_SDIO_DISABLE_IT

Use __STATIC_INLINE void HAL_SDIO_DisableIT(hal_sdio_handle_t *hsdio, uint32_t interrupt)

HAL SDIO get flag/IT macro

Note

In both HAL1 and HAL2, flags and interrupts are internally handled by HAL driver within the process functions; normally, application code does not need to check flags or interrupts status directly.

In HAL1, the following macros are used for flag and interrupt management:

  • __HAL_SDIO_GET_FLAG: Retrieves the status of any SDIO flag by passing the desired flag as a parameter.

  • __HAL_SDIO_GET_IT: Specifically retrieves the status of SDIO interrupt flags by passing the appropriate interrupt flag.

In HAL2, only one API is provided for both general flags and interrupt flags, users should use the HAL_SDIO_IsActiveFlag() function for all cases by providing the desired flag as an argument.

HAL1

HAL2

__HAL_SDIO_GET_FLAG
__HAL_SDIO_GET_IT
Use __STATIC_INLINE uint32_t HAL_SDIO_IsActiveFlag(const hal_sdio_handle_t *hsdio, uint32_t flag) instead
Use HAL_SDIO_IsActiveFlag() with the appropriate IT mask instead.

HAL SDIO get IT source macro

HAL1

HAL2

__HAL_SDIO_GET_IT_SOURCE
Use __STATIC_INLINE uint32_t HAL_SDIO_IsEnabledIT(const hal_sdio_handle_t *hsdio, uint32_t interrupt) instead

..note:

In HAL2 use HAL_SDIO_IsEnabledIT() function to check if the specified SDIO interrupt source is enabled or not by passing the desired interrupt as an argument.

HAL SDIO clear flag macro

In both HAL1 and HAL2, flags and interrupts are internally handled by HAL driver within the process functions; normally, application code does not need to check flags or interrupts status directly.

HAL1

HAL2

__HAL_SDIO_CLEAR_FLAG

Use __STATIC_INLINE void HAL_SDIO_ClearFlag(hal_sdio_handle_t *hsdio, uint32_t flag) instead.
